WELCOME to High Desert Silver Works.  We are a company dedicated to providing high-quality silver goods.  Our overlaid designs are all hand-sawn with a jeweler’s saw.  These designs are then silver-soldered onto a concho or other item.  None of our work is cast; everything is individually hand-crafted.  You can see the process we use on the How It’s Done page.

We use German silver for most of our conchos and for other pieces made of silver.  Also called nickel silver, it stays shinier and is a stronger metal than sterling silver.  Items made with sterling silver are noted at this site.  We work with the following metals:

Special-order items can be made using any combination of these metals.  Prices will vary, depending on the type of metal(s) used.  On the Overlays page, you will find a sampling of the overlay designs we carry; but we gladly will incorporate your brand, logo, or line-drawing into your item.
